Small/Medium Business

G&A’s definition of a small and medium business is up to 100 users with possibly several locations. The core application will typically be based on Microsoft Office. Alongside this there could well be line of business applications, CRM, accountancy package, etc.

In addition there will probably be a requirement to connect the business locations together to allow access to the servers and share information. There will probably be one or more servers to provide the necessary support and resilience to the business.

G&A will determine the best way to provide the service based on the number of users, servers, and the complexity of the network in place to support the business. For example, a large, complex network with many users will require more effort to support than a single location business.
